Scientific Director

Aris Papachristos, MD, serves as Medical Director for the Olympion Rehabilitation Center of Ioannina. He is specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and certified by the European Board of PRM. He attended medical school at the University of Ioannina and completed residency and fellowship in the “National Rehabilitation Center” of Athens. His primary clinical and research interests include pain care management and technology applications for individuals with cognitive and physical impairments. Mr. Papachristos has gained medical experience serving as Medical Director and Assistant Medical Director for  Rehabilitation Centers in Greece as well as  in the primary health care sector in Berlin, Germany. He is a member of the Hellenic Society of PRM, the German Union of PRM Physicians and the Greek Society of Assistive Technology. His research activities include several medical articles that were published in well-respected medical journals and are valued over time with citations.
